Over the last several years, the plastic processing industry has gone through unprecedented resin material shortages and price increases. We have worked diligently with our suppliers for continuity in our resin material supply and pricing without much success. The extreme demand coupled by a reduction in supply has continued to drive up the cost of the materials used to produce our fittings product line. Over the last 12 months we have absorbed the increases internally to support our customer base but we cannot continue to do so without negatively impacting the financial strength of our organization.
Due to the significant increases in cost we find it necessary to implement an overall increase on our fittings product line effective on January 1st, 2023. Please keep in mind that material is in short supply resulting in force majeure and sales allocation restrictions which continue to make future orders accepted by us subject to material availability. In addition, long lead times on previous stock items are still very common, and contribute to our long lead time on all fittings.
